The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) is hosting the Seventh annual A
ngineering, and S
cience Student Conference on April 30, 2013.
The 7th Annual UTSA ABES Student Conference 2013 will provide UTSA students with an exceptional opportunity to present research projects or to exhibit other significant accomplishments, such as capstone senior projects, to the UTSA and San Antonio community.
Participants and attendees will gain professional presentation experience, network with their peers and faculty, and learn about graduate education and science as a career. Special session on career building will be organized by a panel of faculty and industrial individuals.
This year we have the following awards provided by our sponsor Rackspace in amounts of $250 each:
Oral and poster presenters will be selected from those who submit abstracts.
Abstracts or exhibition proposals related (but not limited) to the following research themes are sought:
Rackspace Best Paper Awards: $250*
Rackspace Best Poster Awards: $250*
Additional awards for other selected papers will also be provided*
*Awards are to be shared if a paper or poster is submitted by a group of authors. To be considered for an award, you MUST leave a contact phone number and be able to attend an invite-only awards dinner later after the conference.
